Zhao Hong is the Doctor of Engineering, researcher, doctoral supervisor and serves as the director of Suzhou Research Institute of Beijing University of Chemical Engineering. In terms of academic achievements, Zhao publishes cover paper in the Advanced Materials and more than 40 SCI and EI papers in well-known journals, such as Small、Ind. Eng. Chem. & Res.、Langmuir. Zhao applies for more than 40 patents at home and abroad; 27 patents for invention (2 international invention patents and 25 domestic invention patents) are authorized to undertake projects, including National Science and Technology Support Plan, National 863 Plan, the Construction of Major Innovation Carrier in Jiangsu, National Natural Science Fund, Youth Fund, CNPC, CNOOC, Sinopec, Baosteel Group, China CRRC. Zhao creates a new process for natural gas purification of offshore platform, a novel deep desulfurization process for China 5 standardized gasoline (comprehensively popularized by CNPC), a new technology of low humidity recycling and resource utilization in lithium industry; furthermore, Zhao has won the gold award of Chinese patent (adding corporate profit for more than 1billion RMB), and excellent doctoral dissertation of Beijing; Zhao is nominated for the national excellent doctoral thesis; Zhao obtains the first prize of Invention Award of the Ministry of Education Technology, the first prize of Beijing Science and Technology Award, first prize of China Petroleum and Chemical Science and Technology Progress Award, Excellent Chinese Patent Award, Patent Award of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry, etc.; Apart from those, Zhao wins the Zhejiang Patent Gold Award, identified in the provincial and ministerial level(3 pieces).
