PhD in chemical engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia, Director and General Manager of Chuangqi Times(Qingdao) Technology Co., Ltd., Former Senior Expert of Environmental and EHSS audit in the Asia-Pacific region of SABIC Innovative Plastics Co., Ltd., and Environmental Compliance Manager of the Asia-Pacific region of INVISTA Singapore.

Liew mainly studies solid waste recycling, wastewater reuse, waste solvent reprocessing, energy-saving, lime and refractory engineering technology, and masters many international leading technologies in industrial environmental protection fields. Liew's published 14 papers in top international academic journals such as Biotech. Bioeng, J. Chem. Tech. Biotech., presided over 7 national scientific research projects in Singapore, and was invited to participate in high-level expert meetings such as the Singapore International Environmental Summit and the Singapore National Energy Efficiency Conference. Liew has given keynote speeches 5 times.

Relying on the extremely high attainments in the field of environmental protection and the painstaking research on the corporate environment-related management system, Liew has been responsible for or participated in the ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management of steel plants, lime plants, refractory materials plants, building materials and waste recycling plants around the world for many times. The establishment of the system has made outstanding achievements in the promotion and application of environmental protection technology and the standardized management of environmental protection projects. Liew has been nominated as an outstanding contributor to INVISTA EHS and a major contributor to EHS Excellence in environmental hygiene and safety, playing a major role in reducing costs for enterprises, protecting the environment and sustainable development.
