Wang Yongjun is the Associate Dean of North China Pharmaceutical Group Academia Sinica, Senior Engineer and Domestic Well-known Expert in Environmental Protection Technology.

Graduating from the environmental engineering major of Tsinghua University, Wang is committed to the research, development, and application of pollution control technology, and completes nearly 40 design and research projects regarding pharmaceutical wastewater treatment process , including the design, construction management and trial operation of the pilot base "National Engineering Technology Center for Environmental Protection and Pharmaceutical Wastewater Pollution Control " completed as the project leader. Wang publishes 10 papers and co-authors 2 monographs. His paper The Exploration of Granular Sludge Cultivation Technology for Treatment of Antibiotic Wastewater by UASB Process is awarded the second prize of excellent paper in the ninth annual meeting of Environmental Science Society of five provinces in North China; Wang participates in the project "Experimental Research on the Treatment of Pharmaceutical Wastewater by Hydrolysis Acidification Membrane Reactor" and obtains the second prize for scientific progress of Hebei Province in 2005; Wang wins the title of "100 outstanding young engineers" in Shijiazhuang in 2008; The project "New Technology and Engineering Application for Simultaneous Removal of Carbon, Nitrogen and Sulfur from Organic Wastewater" in cooperation with Harbin University of technology is awarded the second prize for scientific progress in 2010, and the project "Application Research on Treatment of Antibiotic Wastewater by Circulating Aerobic Biochemical Tank is awarded the third prize for scientific progress in Shijiazhuang City in 2011. Presiding over the project Research on Complete Technique of Harmless Recycling of Antibiotic Residue, Wang is awarded the second prize for scientific progress in Hebei province.
