He holds a Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Chemical Engineering from Hebei Institute of Light Industry and Chemical Technology. Over the years, he has been committed to research, development, design, and pilot-scale testing in the fields of fine chemical industry and pharmaceutical intermediates, and is proficient in the whole-process chemical optimization. He has organized and completed industrialization projects such as the annual output of 200,000 tons of EDTA and other series of chelating agents, 10,000 tons of 4,6-dihydroxypyrimidine, and 1,000 tons of ethoxycyanomethylene.

He has successively published dozens of professional papers such as "Application of Mechanical Vapor Recompression Technology in Energy-Saving Circulation Process of Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid", "Study on Freezing Treatment of High-Salt Wastewater from Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid", and "Study on Deamination of Ammonia-Containing Methanol", and holds nearly 30 patents including "A Continuous Dissolution and Filtration Device for Solid EDTA-4Na" and "Acidification Device for Producing EDTA".
