On June 25, 2025, the Synthetic Biology and Bio-manufacturing Professional Committee of the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineering Association was grandly established in Shanghai. The committee was initiated and led by Professor Zhuang Yingping, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Biotechnology (Shanghai) at East China University of Science and Technology, who also serves as the inaugural Chairperson. TIANS Group, jointly with Yichang Dongyangguang, Qingdao Vland Biotech Group Co., Ltd., Shanxi Jinbo Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Far-Cheng Haoxin as co-initiating units, serves as a member unit of the first committee. During the inauguration ceremony, over 30 industry leaders, experts, scholars, and corporate representatives gathered to witness this historic moment, sharing insights into the latest trends in the synthetic biology industry and the new landscape for technological exchange.

The meeting was presided over by Mr. Li Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineering Association. Mr. Xu Shuxiang, Secretary-General of the association, and Professor Zhuang Yingping delivered opening speeches respectively.

Deputy Secretary-General Li Wei announced the association's official approval document for the establishment of the committee. Following a rigorous election process, it was decided to appoint Professor Zhuang Yingping as the inaugural Chairperson. Mr. He Lixiong, Vice President of TIANS Group; Mr. Shang Qinghai, General Manager of Yichang Dongyangguang Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Mr. Li Yuqiang, President of the Enzyme Preparation Platform at Qingdao Vland Biotech Group Co., Ltd.; Mr. Lan Xiaobin, Deputy General Manager of Shanxi Jinbo Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Luo Changhu, General Manager of Far-Cheng Pharmaceutical System Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., were appointed as Vice Chairpersons of the first committee. Mr. Liu Weizhan, Party Branch Secretary and Vice President of the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineering Association, and Secretary-General Xu Shuxiang jointly presented appointment letters to the committee members. Secretary Liu Weizhan also delivered concluding remarks.

As an initiating unit of the Synthetic Biology and Bio-manufacturing Professional Committee of the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Engineering Association, TIANS Group focuses on empowering the industrial-scale production of new technologies. By collaborating with industry, academia, and research institutions, it aims to accelerate the entire chain from "R&D – pilot scale – industrialization," fully leveraging the committee's platform to pool industry expertise and promote high-quality development and ecosystem co-creation within the sector.
